Morning light

Chapter X - In (the Shade) is the source of my book's title. The essay is about the light requirements of various plants, my preference for shade, and the perennials from Pam's garden that are now poking through the soil in mine. Who knew a global crisis was looming, and that I would return to the final sentence of the chapter for comfort?
